Friday 13 March saw the beginning of British Science Week and we had lots of activities happening for all of the students.
Each year group had different activities – from electronics workshops, creep crawly visitors, cake decorating and lots more.
Year 5
- Technology Tom – talk and demonstrations of discovery and inventions
- An introduction to electronics
- Design and build a pressure sensor alarm system
- Alice in Wonderland moving mechanical structures
Year 6
- Creepy Crawley Roadshow
- Design a board game
Year 7
- Fire service workshop
- Cupcake decorating workshop
- Tetrahedron (architecture and engineering)
- Business guest speakers
- Team building activities
Year 8
All activities for Year 8 were let by STEM Ambassadors
