On 16th March 2016 Newminster and Chantry steel pannists took part in the Wansbeck Festival. They competed in many classes through out the day including solos, small ensembles and steel bands.

Caitlin J said, “It was a great experience for all of us who participated and we thoroughly enjoyed it. At first, I felt nervous, but the end result was amazing and I have learnt a lot about how to perform.”
